"Telecom Commission discussed the matter (spectrum usage charge) but it needs further deliberations. There will be another meeting next 2-3 days for further discussion," a government official said after meeting.
Videocon telecom has spectrum in seven circles, but offers services only in Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh/Chattisgarh and Gujarat circles. The company said said it aims to generate Rs 2,500 crore revenue by 2014-15 fiscal from the four circles it operates in.
