Death toll rises to 12 as typhoon Hato hit Macau, Hong Kong

The typhoon made landfall yesterday, bringing winds of up to 160 kilometre per hour to the mouth of the Pearl river and heavy rain to nearby regions, the local meteorological bureau said.
