The initial public offering (IPO) of Radio City‘s operator Music Broadcast has opened today and will close on March 8. The price band for the IPO has been set at Rs 324 and Rs 333.
Jagran Prakashan's board has approved a buyback of 4.74 percent equity shares at Rs 195. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, RK Agarwal, CFO of Jagran Prakashan said that the company did not declare a dividend this year.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18's RK Agarwal, CFO, Jagran Prakashan, hoped that the government this time around clears the proposal to raise the FDI limit in print media to 49 percent from 26 percent. "It would be welcome step," he said.
RK Agarwal, CFO of Jagran Prakashan expects the subscription/circulation revenues to fall short of the guided 6-7 percent to 4-5 percent in FY16.
Jagran's digital advertisement business is also going very strong, bringing in around Rs 20-22 crore in revenues.
After posting good set of numbers in first quarter of new fiscal, RK Agarwal, CFO of Jagran Prakashan believes the next two quarters will also be good.
RK Agarwal, CFO of Jagran Prakashan, which publishes Hindi daily newspaper Dainik Jagran, says net profit has been affected by higher tax liability. However, he says that the company will report better numbers in the coming quarters.
Jagran Prakashan aims revenue growth of about 13-14 percent for FY15.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, RK Agarwal, CFO, Jagran Prakashan spoke about the way forward for the company.
RK Agarwal, CFO, Jagran Prakashan said in FY11, the group had a turnover of about Rs 12 crore from digital business. “We will be investing roughly about Rs 16-17 crore in digital business this year,” he added.
