      The Congress is not inclined to move any amendments to the GST enabling bills in the Rajya Sabha before they are returned to the Lok Sabha but may support the amendments moved by other opposition parties. Sources said the party leaders will meet tomorrow to decide on whether to support the amendments moved by other parties on GST bills.

    • GST a priority: Govt calls for all-party meet on Sunday

      Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar met senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma on Friday. The government has also called an all-party meet on Sunday, a day before Parliament session begins, to bring in a consensus on the crucial GST Bill.
