Texmaco Limited, the railway wagon and engineering company, will shift focus to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) from sale of wagons, says Executive Director AK Vijay.

The company's board meeting will be held on January 30 to consider the fixation of record date for issuance and allotment of equity shares of Texmaco Rail to the shareholders of the company.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said the government will partner with private sector to improve rolling stock fleet.
The minister added that east ticketing services with smart vending & e-ticketing will be made available for all. Taking Prime Minister‘s Swach Bharat campaign forward, Prabhu proposed to have toilets in 650 stations and repair 17000 toilets.
