Audit interventions resulted in recoveries of Rs 4,500 cr: CAG

CAG Shashi Kant Sharma on Thursday said due to audit interventions the Union and state governments accepted recoveries amounting to over Rs 39,000 crore in 2014-15 and actual recoveries effected were Rs 4,500 crore.
