CNBC-TV18 learns that one among the key highlights of the report points to the fact that some larger investors redeemed their money before their E-Series contracts expired.
On Monday, the government has decided to ban the e-series contracts trading on NSEL, the only contracts that were being traded on the platform after NSEL had suspended trading in all one-day forward contracts last week, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources.
On July 31, the NSEL suspended trade in all contracts except 'e-series' following the government's direction not to launch new contracts because of violation of some rules.
NSEL plans to merge all contracts and settlement of these contracts after 15 days, except E-series. For the next 15 days there will not be any trading in contracts except for the E-series.
