Consumer sentiment perked up in June this year, as there was greater optimism towards buying conditions and business environment, with people showing increased willingness to purchase big-ticket items, according to a Deutsche Boerse report
The MNI India Consumer Sentiment Indicator fell 4.6 percent to 108.5 in December from 113.7 in November. While sentiment remains above the 100 level, meaning optimists still outnumber pessimists, it has fallen 9.3 percent over the past year.
