Neyveli Lignite has announced its fourth quarter results. AR Ansari, CMD of Neyveli Lignite says, the performance of FY11-12 is extremely encouraging. The company, he says, is contemplating to add another 500 megawatts, 2x250 megawatts to the capacity.
State-owned Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) today paid a dividend of Rs 361.02 crore to the Ministry of Coal for the 2010-11 fiscal. The dividend cheque was presented to Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal by NLC Chairman and Managing Director AR Ansari, an official statement said.
Neyveli Lignite Corporation touched an intraday high of Rs 104.65 and an intraday low of Rs 100.05. At 13:58 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 100.20, down Rs 2.25, or 2.20%.
AR Ansari, CMD of Neyveli Lignite, in an interview with CNBC-TV18’s Udayan Mukherjee, said that the ongoing problem with Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and the company will be solved in no time as the electricity board has agreed to pay its dues.
