Coromandel International's net profit down 1 percent to Rs 494 crore in Q1

Revenues fell 0.6 percent at Rs 5740 crore year-on-year in Q1FY24.

Coromandel International’s consolidated net profit fell 1 percent to Rs 494 year-on-year for the April-to-June quarter.

Consolidated revenue from operations was down 0.6 percent at Rs 5693 crore in Q1FY24 as compared to the same period a year before.

The company's revenue from crop and allied business increased 1.7 percent to Rs 5,200 crore in the April-to-June quarter as compared to the same period a year before. Coromandel Internationals' crop fertilizer business fell 17 percent year-on-year to Rs 547 crore in Q1FY24.

Coromandel International is India's largest private sector phosphate fertiliser company. It makes crop protection fertilisers like herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
