No – and the latest findings of the ICMR sero survey certainly do not suggest anything like that

Has India achieved “herd immunity” – a term often used to denote a population that has achieved protection from a contagious disease? That immunity is achieved because either the majority of the population has got vaccinated or developed immunity by developing protective anti-bodies after being exposed to the disease earlier.
