A private aircraft on Thursday lost control while taking off from the runway in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad and collapsed in bushes nearby. The two pilots and passengers are safe.

According to district officials cited by news agency PTI, the Jet Service Aviation Pvt Ltd aircraft (bearing registration number VT-DEZ) veered off the runway into surrounding shrubs after losing control while taking off at about 10.30 am.

The jet, as per the report, was carrying the managing director of a beer factory under construction in the district's industrial area, who had arrived to inspect the project site.

The sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) and several other officials immediately rushed to the spot following the accident. District Magistrate Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi told PTI, "The private jet carrying the MD of an under-construction factory lost control during takeoff and went into nearby bushes. Fortunately, all occupants are safe and no injuries have been reported."
