Delhi Air Quality 'Poor' at 284; Anand Vihar hits alarming 430 AQI

Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘poor’ category on Sunday, recording an overall AQI of 284 at 9 am, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Out of 38 monitoring stations, 12 reported air quality in the ‘very poor’ range. Anand Vihar was the most polluted area with an alarming AQI of 430, followed by Wazirpur (364), Vivek Vihar (351), and Dwarka (335).

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported clear skies and mild temperatures but warned that calm weather conditions could allow pollutants to linger, worsening the city’s air quality further.
