State-owned NBCC, a project management consultancy and real estate company, said on November 5 that it has bagged a Rs 500-crore contract from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
In a regulatory filing, NBCC said it has got work order to construct buildings at BIS headquarters, New Delhi; Central laboratory, Sahibabad; National Institute of Training for Standardization, Noida; Northern Regional Laboratory, Mohali and Bangalore Branch Laboratory, Bengaluru.
Earlier this month, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University Varanasi awarded a contract to NBCC worth Rs 44 crore, for construction of multipurpose examination hall cum innovation centre at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University.
The company also won a contract from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi worth Rs 5 crore to the company for repair and renovation of Panani Bhawan/ academic block.
Also, the company won a contract of Rs 186.46 crore for renovation of Power Grid Corporation of India corporate office building situated at Plot No.2, Sector 29, Gurugram, Haryana.
