Hyderabad: objectionable content removed from Facebook

Hyderabad, Feb 8 (PTI) Following complaints by city-based Muslim organisations, Hyderabad police today had certain objectionable material removed from social networking site Facebook. A case has been registered by the Cyber Crime Wing under IT Act, 2008 and section 153(A) (promoting enmity between groups) of IPC. Police had requested Facebook to remove the material. Police were now trying to trace the IP address from where the objectionable material was uploaded, a police press release said. PTI VVK KRK PAL SRE
