Still Waters to perform in Australia

Gangtok, Feb 11 (PTI) Sikkimese rock band Still Waters has been invited to perform at the Schorcher Fest to be held in Adelaide, Australia in April-May this year. "It is an honour to be invited to perform at such a big festival and we are the only band from India to be invited," Sonam Lachungpa, the lead guitarist of the band, told PTI here. The invitation came after the organizers chanced on a YouTube post of Still Waters covering its recently concluded one and a half month long tour of Kathmandu, Kolkata, Guwahati and the Darjeeling Tea and Tourism Festival. The month-long Schorcher Fest is a huge event in which almost all over 100 bands of Australia will perform in five main cities of Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide, Band Manager, Robin Rai said.
