February 12, 2013 / 12:00 IST

New Delhi, Feb 11 (PTI) Expressing unhappiness over intermittent power outages in several parts of Delhi, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today strictly told power distribution companies to improve supply of electricity across the city. "I don't know from where you arrange power. But one thing is clear that there should not be any power cuts in the city," she said. She was speaking after unveiling Modular Integrated Distribution Automation System (MIDAS) introduced by BSES Yamuna Power Ltd to improve the supply of power here. The city has been facing intermittent power cuts for the last few weeks. The Chief Minister said the government would not tolerate any power cuts and the distribution companies will have to improve its operation. PTI MPB AJR TGB PMS
