Greater Noida, Feb 11 (PTI) A Delhi-based scrap dealer and another person were today booked for allegedly beating up a traffic policeman for intercepting them while they were driving on the wrong side. The scrap dealer and his accomplice threatened and assaulted constable Rakesh Tyagi when he stopped them for driving on the wrong side of GT Road, a police official said. Both the accused are absconding and a search is on for them, he added. The clash caused a traffic snarl on GT road. PTI COR HU In Dadri area a scrap dealer driving in wrong side when intercepted by traffic cop beats the cop. Police has registered case against two persons. Today on GT road traffic snarl took place. Constable Rakesh Tyagi stopped one car driver going in wrong direction. Car driver alongwith one another person threatened the cops and even assaulted them. One constables name plate fell down. The clash caused long traffic snarl. Police said both the accused were absconding till late evening today. Car owner was scarp dealer at Delhi and other was his driver. HU
