Vivo X200 Ultra confirmed to launch with a photography kit

Vivo’s Product Manager, Han Boxiao, through a new Weibo post, confirmed that the upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra will launch with an external lens that will work with the Photography Kit. The photography kit will feature a specially designed bracket to provide better camera stability for users. It will also come equipped with a dedicated video recording button, enabling one-click video recording for added convenience.

Further, the telephoto periscope lens will have a 200MP resolution, enabling a 200mm focal length and an f/2.3 aperture on the smartphone alongside 8.7x optical zoom support. Vivo has also confirmed that the external lens accessory will deliver an 800mm or 35x optical zoom, and a 1600mm or 70x zoom, which is equivalent to 30x zoom without any external lens.

Moreover, the photography kit accessory features a camera grip with a dedicated shutter and video recording buttons, a scroll wheel for enhanced zooming, and a Type-C connection to power it via the smartphone. It is also confirmed to pack a 2,300mAh battery and a shoulder strap loop for added convenience. The Vivo X200 Ultra is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and may include a 2K display enhanced with Zeiss Master Colour technology.
