SG Mart share price touched 52-week high of Rs 10,715.20 in the early trade on January 9 after the company's board approved a bonus share issue and sub-division of equity shares.
At 9.34 am, SG MART was quoting at Rs 10,715.20, up Rs 210.10, or 2 percent, on the BSE.
On January 8, the board approved a 1:10 split of the company’s equity shares - one share having a face value of Rs 10 to be divided into 10 shares of rupee 1 each-- subject to the approval of shareholders
The board also approved issuance of bonus shares to the shareholders in the ratio of 1:1 — one share for every one equity held.
The record date for the split and bonus issue shall be intimated to the stock exchange in due course, the company said.
