The market is likely off to a tepid start, Asian shares opened mixed tracking weak overnight cues from Wall Street, as investors weighed China’s growth woes amidst rising expectations of a US interest rate hike next week. US stocks posted losses after Trump signed a revised executive order, effective March 16, banningcitizens from six Muslim-majority countries from travelling to the United States for 90 days. European stocks also posted losses, politics has become the main market driver as populist candidates come to the fore amid election campaigns in the Netherlands, France and Germany.
