Market to open flat despite global rally: SMC Global

The European markets were flat but US stocks again hit new record closing highs after Janet Yellen in her monetary policy testimony said gains in consumer spending, household income and American wealth are sustaining economic growth that may warrant higher interest rates. Asahi India Glass, Gammon India, Shree Ganesh Forgings, Raj Television Network and Sanco Industries to announce their results today. As per provisional figures, foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) sold shares worth net Rs 6.45 crore on February 14, 2017. Domestic institutional investors sold shares worth Rs 3.2 crore on that day.
