Shares of Just Dial soared 14 percent intraday on Monday on the much-awaited launch of Search Plus. The local search engine has launched the Android App, on Google Play Store.
"The company has launched its latest Android app on Google Play Store for users. The company has also submitted its new iOS app to Apple App Store and is expected to go live shortly," the company said in a filing to the BSE. The company said that the new visually appealing multi-purpose Search Plus app is aimed at enhancing experience for its users by providing a one-stop online solution for a variety of user requirements pertaining to information retrieval, search and online transactions.
Its April-June quarter net profit jumped 18 percent increase to Rs 33.17 crore from Rs 28.11 crore in year-ago period. During the period, its total income from operations grew by 24.87 percenr to Rs 168.62 crore in the quarter against Rs 135.03 crore year-on-year.
