Shares of Dilip Buildcon surged 4 percent intraday Friday after the company won an order from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for Rs 911 crore. "The NHAI has declared Dilip Buildcon as the successful bidder (L-1) for the project 'four laning of Tuljapur-Ausa (including Tuljapur BYpass) Section of NH-361 from 0.000 km to 55.835 km under NHDP Phase-IV on hybrid annuity mode in Maharashtra at a project cost of Rs 911.07 crore having length of 67.428 km and completion period of 24 months," the company said in a filing to the exchanges.This is its second order win in a month. On January 20, the company’s joint venture, DBL-DECO, had received a letter of award from Northern Coalfields worth Rs 1,673.58 crore. “DBL-DECO (JV) has received letter of award from Northern Coalfields for the work of excavation of overburden of first dig (solid) and re-handling by mechanical means at specified places at Nigahi OCP of NCL at a project cost of Rs 1,673.58 crore,” the company had informed bourses.The stock has seen an uptick, after it gained over 11 percent over the past one month. Its 15-day movement was up over 7.5 percent on the BSE. At 09:32 hrs Dilip Buildcon was quoting at Rs 244.10, up Rs 5.65, or 2.37 percent, on the BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 248.00 and an intraday low of Rs 243.10.
