Rail Budget 2012-13: Texmaco, Kalindee trading firm on BSE

Shares of companies related to the Indian Railways network were in focus today in the wake of the annual Union Rail Budget, while stocks like Kalindee Rail Nirman and Texmaco witnessed hectic buying.

Shares of companies related to the Indian Railways network were in focus today in the wake of the annual Union Rail Budget, while stocks like Kalindee Rail Nirman and Texmaco witnessed hectic buying.

Shares of Texmaco rose by 3.99% to Rs 31.25, while Kalindee Rail was trading higher by 1.02% at Rs 113.35 on the BSE around the mid-day trade. Similarly, BEML was up 1.38% to Rs 690.50, while Gateway Distriparks climbed 1.32% to Rs 153.05. Shares of Kernex Microsystems jumped 2.60% to Rs 94.80.

Titagarh Wagons, however, saw some profit booking after an initial spike and fell by 0.90%. According to market analysts, stocks of wagon makers were in focus since morning on hopes of getting greater fund allocation.
