NALCO surges 5% on govt divestment proposal

According to sources, Government is going to divest 12.5% in NALCO, 9.59% in Hindustan Copper, 10% in Oil India and 5% in Neyveli Lignite, reports CNBC-TV18. At 09:22 hrs NALCO was quoting at Rs 54.80, up Rs 2.60, or 4.98%.

According to sources, Government is going to divest 12.5% in NALCO, 9.59% in Hindustan Copper, 10% in Oil India and 5% in Neyveli Lignite, reports CNBC-TV18.

National Aluminium Company (NALCO) touched an intraday high of Rs 55.15 and an intraday low of Rs 52.95. At 09:22 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 54.80, up Rs 2.60, or 4.98%. It was trading with volumes of 22,071 shares.

Neyveli Lignite Corporation touched an intraday high of Rs 81.35 and an intraday low of Rs 79.10. At 09:22 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 81.05, up Rs 2.30, or 2.92%. It was trading with volumes of 19,238 shares.

Oil India touched an intraday high of Rs 495.85 and an intraday low of Rs 485.35. At 09:22 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 488.45, up Rs 6.45, or 1.34%. It was trading with volumes of 400 shares.

Hindustan Copper touched an intraday high of Rs 270 and an intraday low of Rs 266. At 09:22 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 269.00, up Rs 5.10, or 1.93%. It was trading with volumes of 29,427 shares.
