Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "Coal India has been falling but it is now coming very close to Rs 290 support, which is held twice. So I would be a buyer here. We already know our exit, it is below Rs 290 and that should hold. If it does not then we get stopped out."
At 11:06 hrs Coal India was quoting at Rs 303.05, down Rs 0.55, or 0.18 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 304.15 and an intraday low of Rs 300.35.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 386 and 52-week low Rs 291.20 on 17 September, 2012 and 19 March, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 21.49 percent below its 52-week high and 4.07 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 191,417.42 crore.
