Ajay Devgn leases out Mumbai office space for Rs 7 lakh per month

Devgn owns the property at Signature Tower in the Veera Desai Road area

Actor Ajay Devgn has leased out an office space at the Veera Desai Road area in Andheri, Mumbai, for Rs 7 lakh per month, according to documents accessed by Square Yards. The agreement was registered on September 2, with a stamp duty of Rs 1.12 lakh paid, according to the lease and license agreement.

The premises, measuring 3,455 square feet, is located in Signature Tower, built by Lotus Developers, according to Square Yards. The property has been leased by Kabir Khan Entertainment LLP, the document stated. The lease is for a period of five years, with a security deposit of Rs 30 lakh, and the premises also come with three car parking spaces, according to the leave and license agreement.

Devgn, along with his wife, the actress Kajol, also owns other properties in the same project, Square Yards stated.

Besides Devgn, many other celebrities have invested significant amounts into commercial office spaces in the area, such as Kartik Aaryan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan, and others, in order to tap into the premium that the location attracts in terms of rent, and proximity to multiple residential neighbourhoods, as well as prominent retail and food and beverage destinations.

The area is located close to the upscale Lokhandwala neighbourhood, as well as areas such as Versova, DN Nagar, and Oshiwara in Andheri.
