RBI invites call applications for positions of CAFRAL director, senior adviser

The Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning is an independent research and learning institute, which was set up by RBI in 2011

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on June 24 invited applications for the post of director and senior advisor for the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (CAFRAL). The applications have to be submitted by July 21, the RBI said in a release.

CAFRAL is an independent research and learning institute, which was set up by the RBI in 2011.

CAFRAL director is the chief executive officer of the institute, providing knowledge leadership and functions under the guidance of the governing council chaired by the RBI governor.

The appointment for both posts will be for five years, subject to a satisfactory annual review. The compensation will be in line with the best in the industry, the RBI said.

Applicants must have at least 25 years of excellence in research and/or teaching experience, including the time spent on completion of PhD.
