    The D-Street ended a highly volatile day on a negative note ahead of the RBI policy outcome on Wednesday.

    The Sensex slipped 108.68 points at 34,903.21, and the Nifty shed 35.30 points at 10,593.20. The bank Nifty ended on flat note, while midcap index fell over 1 percent.

    Shares of Bharti Airtel, Larsen and Toubro, Dr Reddys Labs, Coal India and Power Grid Corp tanked.
