The above graph is bar chart of the Quarterly Preliminary GDP data of Japan from Q-2 2014 to t Q1- 2015.

Japans prelim GDP q/q rose to 0.6% above market expectation as well the previous quarter figure of 0.4%.Annualized pace of growth marked to 2.4% against previous quarter of 1.5%. The world\\`s third-largest economy expanded for the first quarter of this year due to business inventories, Private consumption and exports. Inventory was the biggest contributor to growth, adding 0.5% point versus only 0.4 point gained by increases in domestic demand components like capital expenditure, consumption and housing investment. Japan is largely depending on export business; deprecation of Yen also helped exporters. The Japanese yen held steady yesterday despite better than expected growth data of Japan in first quarter. Markets focused on events in Europe and negotiations over Greece\\`s debt along with largely economic data of U.S. However, Economic and Fiscal Policy Minister Akira Amari worried over weakness in the global economy and it remained a threat to sustained growth.
