The BSE Sensex turned negative on Tuesday morning, with financials leading the decline, as investors booked profits after four sessions of rise.


At 9:42 a.m. (0412 GMT), the 30-share BSE index was down 0.21% at 20,518.51 points, with 18 components falling. It rose as much as 0.4% in early trade.


The 50-share NSE index was down 0.2% at 6,146.40.
