The Indian rupee opened at 45.18 per dollar versus 45.25 yesterday.

The Indian rupee opened at 45.18 per dollar versus 45.25 yesterday.

Vikram Nanivadekar, Verity Analytics said that, "The Budget was not negative for the rupee and some of the proposals for FII investment have provided mild support. The range for the day is seen between 45-45.40/$."
