EdGE Networks, an artificial intelligence-driven HR tech solutions company, today said it has secured USD 4.5 million (about Rs 29.16 crore) funding led by Kalaari Capital and Ventureast.

The company said it will use the Series A capital to strengthen its core product offerings for workforce optimisation and talent acquisition.

Geographical and vertical expansion are two areas that the company will pursue across the next phase of growth, EdGE Networks said in a statement.

"This funding will allow us to strengthen our technology, expand our team and move forward to realise our global ambitions," EdGE Networks founder and CEO Arjun Pratap said.

EdGE Networks uses AI and data science to help address talent acquisition and workforce optimisation challenges faced by large and mid-sized organisations.

It works with customers like Wipro, HCL, Virtusa and others.
