Zydus Wellness Q2 net up 10% at Rs 32 cr

    Zydus Wellness reported a 10.20 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 32.07 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016-17.

    It had posted net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit/(loss) of associates of Rs 29.10 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the Zydus group firm said in a filing to BSE.

    Consolidated total income from operations also rose to Rs 112.42 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 104.60 crore for the same period year ago.

    "The continued thrust on marketing and branding initiatives for the pillar brands, Sugar Free, EverYuth and Nutralite has helped drive growth and maintain market share, during the quarter," the company said.
