    Reduction in finance cost has improved profits, says Orient Green

    Orient Green Power reported a weak set of Q3 numbers. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, S Venkatachalam, MD of the company spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.

    Orient Green Power reported a weak set of Q3 numbers. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, S Venkatachalam, MD of the company spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.

    Venkatachalam said that reduction in finance cost has improved profits.

    On wind tariff front, he said that Gujarat has wind tariff of Rs 4.15 per mw.

    Talking about PPA renewal, he said that Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh are 25 years of power purchase agreements, so no scope of revisiting and changing them.

    We have total debt of Rs 1,660 crore; have done 5/25 scheme for around Rs 1,000 crore debt, he said.
