BCL Industries, a key player in the recycling sector, announced a significant rise in standalone net profit for the September quarter, with earnings surging 64 per cent to Rs 21.01 crore. This contrasts sharply with the Rs 12.83 crore loss reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, 2023-24, as per the company’s exchange filing on Tuesday.
The company’s total income during this period also showed a substantial increase, reaching Rs 533.84 crore, up from Rs 368.62 crore in the year-ago quarter — marking a 44 per cent year-on-year growth.
To diversify and expand its business, BCL Industries is investing Rs 350 crore in new projects, including a biogas plant and a distillery in Haryana.
