    State-owned National Fertilisers Ltd today reported 43 percent decline in its net profit at Rs 73.24 crore for the quarter ended December 2016.

    State-owned National Fertilisers Ltd today reported 43 percent decline in its net profit at Rs 73.24 crore for the quarter ended December 2016.

    Its net profit stood at Rs 129.34 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.

    Income from operations, however, increased to Rs 2,526.60 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal from Rs 2,341.2 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

    Tax expense doubled to Rs 41.71 crore from Rs 20.66 crore during the period under review.
