Kaveri seeds on Friday reported consolidated net loss of Rs 47.52 crore for the quarter ended September 30, due to fall in income. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 33.52 crore in the year-ago period. Total income declined to Rs 98.85 crore in the July-September quarter of current fiscal from Rs 208.39 crore in the same period of the last fiscal, as per the company's BSE filing.
In June this year, the RBI had allowed foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) to invest up to 49 percent of Kaveri Seeds' equity base.
