Construction and engineering major Gammon India today posted a net loss of Rs 71.9 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016-17.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 553.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, Gammon India said in a BSE filing.
The net sales of the company declined to Rs 679.4 crore in the July-September quarter of 2016-17, over Rs 1,772.2 crore in the year-ago period.
The total expenses declined to Rs 653.4 crore during the quarter under review, over Rs 1,162.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2015-16.
