Future Retail's fourth quarter profit after tax may increase 5.4 times to Rs 8.6 crore compared to Rs 1.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal, according to the average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

Total income from operations is seen rising 12.6 percent to Rs 2,641 crore during January-March quarter compared to Rs 2,345 crore in same quarter last fiscal.

Operating profit may jump 20.4 percent year-on-year to Rs 290 crore and margin may expand 70 basis points to 11 percent in March quarter, aided by higher fashion mix.

Value retail (Big Bazaar) same-store-sales growth is likely to be around 11 percent Y-o-Y.

Interest expenses may be lower on sequential basis as rights issue money (Rs 1,600 crore) was used to pay some debt in February (1 month benefit).
