Expect good volume as well as value growth on Q4: HPL Electric

HPL Electric & Power delivered a good set of third quarter earnings. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Gautam Seth, Joint MD of the company discussed the company's Q3 performance.

HPL Electric & Power delivered a good set of third quarter earnings. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Gautam Seth, Joint MD of the company discussed the company's Q3 performance.

Seth said that on quarter-on-quarter basis our revenues have grown 23 percent. We also had our EBITDA going up by 17 percent and our profit at 8.8 crore going up 42 percent.

Talking about business, he said our order book on meters is over Rs 300 crore and this is after having two successive quarters of good execution of meters.

He further said that metering has picked up, switch gears had 33 percent growth QoQ. So two of main verticals have picked up. Lighting has seen good traction over last two quarters. So in all performance seems to be getting better now.

“We do expect a good volume growth as well as value growth on Q4 and our capacity utilizations in all the four categories have gone up, so it’s positive from us,” he said.
