    Aban Offshore Q3 profit seen up 6.5% at Rs 85 cr: Poll

    Aban Offshore‘s third quarter consolidated net profit is expected to rise 6.5 percent year-on-year to Rs 85 crore, according to the average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

    Aban Offshore’s third quarter consolidated net profit is expected to rise 6.5 percent year-on-year to Rs 85 crore, according to the average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

    Total income of the offshore drilling services provider (to oil companies) is likely to be flat at Rs 992 crore during October-December quarter compared to Rs 994 crore in the year-ago period.

    Operating profit too is expected to be flat at Rs 564 crore for the quarter against Rs 559 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Margin may expand 60 basis points Y-o-Y to 56.8 percent in the quarter gone by.

    Anaylsts believe the lower interest cost may support earnings in the third quarter of current financial year 2014-15.
