BGR Energy Q3 PAT seen down 34% at Rs 58 cr

BGR Energy Systems is likely to report a profit after tax of Rs 58 crore in the third quarter of FY12, a fall of 34% as compared to Rs 88 crore in a year ago quarter.

BGR Energy Systems is likely to report a profit after tax of Rs 58 crore in the third quarter of FY12, a fall of 34% as compared to Rs 88 crore in a year ago quarter.

Total income is also seen going down 22% to Rs 983 crore from Rs 1,257 crore year-on-year.

EBITDA is likely to fall 20% to Rs 117 crore from Rs 147 crore during the same period.

But, operating profit margin is seen improving at 11.94% in the October-December quarter of FY12 versus 11.71% in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

Expectations

- Revenue decline expected due to high base effect and some execution delays

- Expect some margin improvement due to higher composition of BoP in execution

- Revenue decline and increased interest exp to lead to YoY decline in bottom line

- Improvement in order inflows to be a key factor to watch for
