Balrampur Chini likely to post loss at Rs 20 cr in Q2

Balrampur Chini is expected to report a loss of Rs 20 crore in the second quarter of FY12 as against loss of Rs 78.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

    Balrampur Chini is expected to report a loss of Rs 20 crore in the second quarter of FY12 as against loss of Rs 78.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

    Sales are seen going up 1.5% to Rs 515 crore from Rs 508.3 crore during the same period.

    EBITDA is likely to be at Rs 33 crore in the July-September quarter of FY12 versus operating loss of Rs 25.2 crore in a year ago period.

    Sugar sales are expected be around 1.6 lakh tonnes in the quarter ended September 2011.

    Average realization is likely to go up about Rs 1.5/kg on quarter-on-quarter basis due to festive season demand.
