Biocon Q3 cons net profiit rises 24.85% at Rs 101 cr

Indian biotechnology firm Biocon has declared its results for the quarter ended December 2010. It has reported consolidated net profiit at Rs 101 crore as against Rs 80.9 crore, a growth of 24.85% on year-on-year basis.

Indian biotechnology firm Biocon has declared its results for the quarter ended December 2010. It has reported consolidated net profiit at Rs 101 crore as against Rs 80.9 crore, a growth of 24.85% on year-on-year basis.

Consolidated net sales jumped 14.65% to Rs 728 crore from Rs 635 crore (YoY).

Consolidated earning before interest, depreciation, tax and amortisation (EBIDTA) margin was at 23.3% in third quarter.

Numbers were better-than-expectations. CNBC-TV18 expected profit after tax at Rs 93 crore and revenues at Rs 710 crore.
