Dhillon to succeed from Jhangiani as Group CFO of Bharti

Bharti Enterprises, the parent company of Bharti Airtel, today announced that Sarvjit Singh Dhillon will succeed Manik Jhangiani as the group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) next year.

Bharti Enterprises, the parent company of Bharti Airtel, today announced that Sarvjit Singh Dhillon will succeed Manik Jhangiani as the group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) next year.

Bharti Enterprises said in a statement said Jhangiani will complete his contractual term in January, 2012 and has decided to pursue opportunities outside of Bharti.

"Over the years, he (Dhillon) has contributed immensely to the growth of the Group and I am confident that his holistic business acumen and strategic thinking will continue to be of immense value," Founder, Chairman and Group CEO of Bharti Enterprises Sunil Bharti Mittal said.

In his new role as group CFO, Dhillon would work in close coordination with the business CEOs, CFOs as well as corporate functional heads across the group. He will report to Sunil Bharti Mittal, the release added.

Dhillon has been with Bharti for the last 14 years and has successfully held a number of senior management positions across the group, including CFO
