KEC International gets Rs 1,416 crore worth orders

Infrastructure company KEC International has won orders worth Rs 1,416 crore spread across various businesses, geographies and customers.

Infrastructure company KEC International has won orders worth Rs 1,416 crore spread across various businesses, geographies and customers.

For instance, it has received Rs 983 crore worth orders in the transmission business. These include Rs 320 crore order from Power Grid Corp of India, Rs 243 crore order from Power Grid Corp of Bangladesh, Rs 213 crore order in the African country of DR Congo and Rs 207 crore orders secured by its unit SAE Towers.

It has also received orders for power substations in Kenya, water canal works in Madhya Pradesh and orders in telecom and cable businesses.

KEC International shares were trading up 2.7% at Rs 65.65 on NSE post the announcement in morning trade.
