Auto suffers after proposal for excise hike on diesel cars

After the oil minister's recommendation for hiking excise duty on diesel cars, the auto index have not really looked up. CNBC-TV18's Sonia Shenoy reports, it is not only companies like Mahindra and Mahindra(M&M) who would be impacted, others like Maruti and Tata Motors are likely to be affected.
