Private equity firm General Atlantic today appointed Sandeep Naik as its managing director. Naik will lead the fund's investment advisory activities here as part of its continued focus on investing in growth companies, the company said in a statement. Naik's expertise and leadership will be a significant addition to our team and underscores our commitment to this very important geography, General Atlantic chief executive William Ford said. Naik was previously a partner and co-head of the India office of PE firm Apax Partners.
